Originally from South East London, I moved to Spain 12 years ago for a new life to escape the rat race. I had been working in the city of London all my working life as a commercial underwriter, I studied for my Master’s degree in Insurance and progressed to include risk surveying and was the Area development underwriter. It was a stressful job and it was time for a change! Obviously it was my destiny as 8 years ago I met Ben here and last month we got married in Gibraltar. We did a road trip just the 2 of us for the wedding, staying in places along the way and 3 days in Tarifa (it is stunning there) then returned the next week for a reception with our friends and family. We then flew off to honeymoon in to the Dominican Republic. September was a very busy and pretty special month for me!
I live very happily with my now husband, our 3 dogs and 2 cats and love my life including my job. I am a happy person that enjoys life and is grateful for all that I have. I feel very lucky. Life is good…
I have worked for Telitec for almost 6 years. I am now the Supervisor for the Accounts Department where we deal with all the payments in and out of the Head Office. I am also the credit controller so am responsible for the smooth running of payments of the client’s invoices and ensuring that the payments are received and allocated correctly. Where there are any issues with rejected payments or late payments I liaise with the clients and banks to help resolve any problems they have.
We are all very close at Telitec and like a big family, we always look out for each other and are there for each other at times of need. Aside from my husband they are my family here!
Likes-The Spanish way of life, Dogs, Animals (I want a donkey but am not allowed!) relaxing on the beach, boating, discovering new places and finding the hidden gems of our beautiful country. History of different cultures and times. Vampires. Horror films, reading (horrors and thrillers) I love music and have a huge variety of likes but my all-time favorite bands are U2 & Pink Floyd. I love spicy food and have a reputation for being chili and garlic mad!
Dislikes-People who are unkind or cruel to other people and especially those who are cruel and unkind to animals, dishonesty, rudeness, cold wet weather, jellied eels, ready meals or any food with artificial flavoring and msgs, Snakes and spiders and pigeons.
