The European Court of Justice recently ruled that the Spanish banks have overcharged two million mortgage holders in Spain. They will have to repay a massive €7.5 BILLION back to those affected.
This is great news for anyone who currently has, or has had, a mortgage in Spain in the last few years. However, working out what is owed to you and then convincing your bank to refund you isn’t going to be straightforward. The banks are not required to automatically make repayments – a legal claim has to be filed before any money can be returned.
As many of our clients are homeowners, we’re co-hosting an event in Javea with Pellicer Heredia and Chorus Financial to answer your questions about how to reclaim, and help you find out if you are eligible. The event is not just for Telitec customers, but for anyone who thinks they may have a claim.
The free event is being held at the Parador Hotel in Javea at 11am on Thursday 30th March.
Follow the Facebook event here to keep up to date if you’re not decided yet, but if you plan to come then PLEASE also call 965 641 163 or email t.storer@chorusfinancial.es to let us know you’re attending.
