Life happens… you find yourself sitting in traffic, stuck at work or dealing with an emergency. As a pet owner you have all the right intentions, but sometimes it’s unavoidable that your fur-baby will be hungry at home, wondering why you’re not there to fill their bowl up!
The PetSafe gadget is the solution. It’s a barrel-shaped device that holds dry pet food in a secure container (so your hungry pets can’t break in!) that also keeps it fresh. The food drops out and into the attached bowl when prompted. It links to an app on your phone through your home’s WiFi, so if you’re going to be unexpectedly late you can tell the gadget that it’s dinner time from anywhere. Alternatively you can set it to feed your pets at pre-set times.
An especially nice touch is that you can set it to slow-feed-mode where the food trickles slowly. This is great if you have a dog who eats so quickly he chokes or makes himself sick, which can be a real problem with rescue dogs or certain breeds.
It’s a perfect solution for when you’re unexpectedly late, but also gives you a little bit of freedom as you can pre-set the feeding time before you go out if you know that you’ll be late home. No more bribing your neighbour to pop in and feed Felix!
