Georgia!
You may have heard that Sandi from our Benijofar office has been working hard organising an adopt-a-dog event, which happened last weekend (Oct 28th). We’re happy to report that at last count there was 700€ raised to be split between the rescues that attended the event, as well as the direct donations of money, food, and supplies that the rescues received.
Best of all, SEVEN dogs found their forever homes! We’re thrilled for the dogs, the shelters, and of course the families that the dogs have adopted!
We’re especially emotional about Georgia, a sweet girl who’s been waiting at the Big Red’s Rescue for two years. She was found by the side of the road with a broken leg and her ears and tail cut – maybe that’s why, despite being a favourite with the volunteers who cared for her, she kept being overlooked at the shelter. But now she’s going home!
